There are two services that you can sign up for to keep track of incarcerated inmates. One is the VINELink site. Go to www.vinelink.com. It is the country's number one victim notification service. Indiana also has their own service which is the Indiana Savin program. It can be found at www.indianasavin.in.gov. That stands for "Statewide Automated Victim Information and Notification. All registrations are kept strictly confidential.
There is a new online search capability on their site. You can search by case number, party name or attorney name. You can search for criminal, civil, family courts and others. You can read information on each case as to the parties involved, the charges as well as a chronological case summary.
If you need court contact info, see the Circuit and Superior Courts page. Scroll down until you see the "online case information" headline and click the link to go to the search screen.
