Here is some information that you will find useful if you have a loved one in the jail.

Go to the Mail Rules and Regulations page. It will give you the proper mailing address, what is unacceptable to mail in and the rules for books and magazines, too.

Click to the Visiting Process page which will give you tips on what not to carry into prison, dress code and how to set up visits. New inmates will not be allowed visits before the classification process is completed which can take up to three days after arrival.

Do you want to send an inmate some money? Visit the Inmate Trust Account page. You will learn the variety of ways one can deposit money on an inmate's account.

    Lane County Public Records

Many counties have online search capabilities. The following is a quote from the Oregon Courts web site:
At present, we do not have free online access to our case records. Budget cuts have delayed that development. You can access OJIN (the register of case records) online only at a local circuit court public access terminal or if you subscribe to OJIN OnLine, which offers access for a fee:

    http://www.ojd.state.or.us/ojin

Some public access terminals provide access to information on cases filed in that court but not to the statewide name index.

Note the fee is $295.00 and then a monthly fee on top of that. I would be the best to check for a public access terminal.
